I did a great deal of searching on the internet for photos and info. The more I looked the more I found that I loved. She said, " It isn't where you came from, it's where you're going that counts." Also, " Don't give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong." But then how do you do a painting that really justifies this musical legend? It took a lot of time before I could finish this painting.
I love the rhythm of the blues that float behind and through Lady Ella. After all, she sang the blues.
