Deep Romantic Moments

Deep Romantic Moments is an oil and cold wax abstract painting on cradle board. 

I first painted the cradle board with a lovely green house paint.  Once the paint was dry, I was able to "tape off" a border prior to doing the abstract painting.  This gives a great frame like appearance.  I especially like seeing this painting with one of the other similar paintings with the light green border.  Mixing the two or more paintings is interesting visually. They can be used to create a linear painting or placed like a square if using four. Colors in the lavender "frame" mix with colors in the green "frame".
